Fears Brunswick 38 Polar White BS23800B.047.039
Small-batch, proudly Britain-built
Graceful and complex, the curvaceous Fears Brunswick is an exacting object to create. It takes its inspiration from a gentleman’s cushion case watch in the Fears archives, first made in 1924, and a dial colour used in the 1940s and 50s. The Brunswick’s elegant 38mm cushion-shaped case has no flat surfaces, with even the solid caseback having a gentle sweep. Each individually-numbered case’s glancing curves are machined from 316L stainless steel, to a level usually reserved for precious metals. The depth of the polish belies the sophistication of the machinery and the skill of the operator.
The Brunswick 38 Polar White is powered by a Swiss-made, manual winding La Joux-Perret D100 movement. This movement is the top-grade version, with an extended 50 hour power reserve and finished with Côtes de Genève and blued screws.
This Brunswick watch is fitted with a handmade Fears Blue strap crafted from Barenia leather lined in genuine Alcantara® dyed in a deep shade of blue, lending a classic yet contemporary feel to the watch. The strap is finished with Fears' bespoke pin buckle (featuring the Fears Cypher).
